The Chinese Division of the Language Center in Feng Chia University: This Language Center provides first-rate instruction taught by enthusiastic and dynamic teachers.   Though the FCU Language Center is neither the oldest, nor the biggest in Taiwan, it strives to be both the friendliest and the cheapest in price.  With the multi-lingual program evaluation questionnaire, the weekly service hour offered by each teacher, the most extensive website, the mid-term lunch meetings with the director for all new students, the family-like atmosphere of the office, the helpful teachers who spend time after hours with their students, the free movie-of-the-month and the wide variety of extra-curricular activities, we are for sure your best bet for a pleasant and successful place of studies.  We allow our students to choose between 10 to 16 hours for the same tuition fee, so if you are a serious student, it is important to find out what exactly you get for the price when comparing the tuition fees of different language centers.

In order to provide the best environment for our students, our staff and students continually evaluate our courses and suggestions are reflected in our curriculum.  For example, we added courses in Simplified Characters, Chinese Computing Skills and Taiwanese (three levels).  In order to introduce the many facets of Chinese culture, the center organizes a unique set of courses taught by specialists in the field of one of the many fascinating aspects of Chinese culture.  All of these courses give you either excellent hands-on experience or a first-class introduction in one of the diverse aspects of Chinese culture as subjects range from Chinese cuisine to kung fu or from feng shui to architecture and from calligraphy to Chinese chess.

Since the Language Center wants to create a challenging but pleasant environment for serious students, it has a strict attendance policy.
