Wenzao is the only College of Foreign Languages in Taiwan, has specialized in teaching foreign languages for thirty-seven years and educated many outstanding persons with foreign language skills, with great achievements well recognized in all social circles. Our campus consists of buildings mostly in Chinese Style surrounded by red flowers and green trees. The English, French, German, Spanish, and Japanese buildings standing around the campus, give the impression of a miniature global village.

The CCL was established to improve communication between Chinese and other cultures and applies the same principles to teach Chinese as a foreign language. Our program has six basic levels, six intermediate levels, and high advanced levels of speaking, listening, reading and writing, all taught simultaneously. Other than the regular classes, the CCL provides “hands-on” cultural activities for young international students, such as classes in handicrafts, martial arts, and Chinese cuisine.
